# KYNER — Terms of Service

## 1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using KYNER ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

## 2. Description of Service

KYNER is a software platform that unifies training data from third-party fitness applications (Strava, Garmin, Whoop, Hevy, etc.) to provide analytics and a "readiness" score based on the ACWR (Acute:Chronic Workload Ratio) model.

## 3. Evidence Base

All thresholds and recommendations are derived from peer-reviewed sources:
- **Systematic reviews and meta-analyses** (where available)
- **Randomized controlled trials (RCTs)**
- **Delphi consensus statements** (where RCTs are limited)

Sources include PubMed/PMC and Springer/Sciencedirect publications. The full evidence base is publicly accessible at `/api/evidence`. Each recommendation in the app displays its source and evidence level.

## 4. Account Terms

- You must provide accurate registration information
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
- You must be at least 16 years old
- One account per person

## 5. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service
- Reverse engineer the Service
- Use the Service to harass, abuse, or harm others
- Scrape or systematically extract data

## 6. Health Disclaimer

**KYNER is not a medical device.** The readiness score and analytics are for informational purposes only and should not be used as a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of your physician or other qualified health provider with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition.

## 7. Limitation of Liability

KYNER shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the Service.

## 8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
